Jennings County High School

The Jennings County Womens soccer team turned in a dominant performance, defeating Scottsburg 6-0. The Panthers took control early and carried a 2-0 lead into halftime before breaking the match open with four goals in the second half. Delaynee Ritz led the JCHS attack with an outstanding four-goal performance, while Sofia Lazcano added two goals to complete the scoring for the Panthers. Jennings County also did an excellent job creating opportunities for one another. Whitney Barber recorded two assists, while Aloni Zarate Espinoza, Sofia Lazcano, and Emma Russell each added an assist. Defensively, the Panthers kept Scottsburg off the scoreboard. Goalkeeper Annabelle Littiken recorded seven saves to secure the shutout. JCHS controlled the offensive opportunities throughout the match, outshooting Scottsburg 21-7.
