The Jennings County High School Cross Country team celebrated a record-breaking performance this past weekend at the Brown County Invitational. Running in the Elite Race, Adistyn Long finished with a time of 18:55, setting a new school record for the girls program. The previous record of 19:06.06, set by Emma Morrison, stood as the fastest mark in school history until Long’s achievement on Saturday. The Brown County Invitational is widely regarded as one of the most competitive meets in Indiana, drawing elite runners from across the state. Long’s performance not only set a new Jennings County record but also placed her among the top competitors in the event. Congratulations to Adistyn on her historic performance and for continuing to elevate Jennings County Cross Country.
