The Jennings County Panthers gave their fans plenty to cheer about Friday night, as they powered past the Madison Cubs 41-20 in an exciting Homecoming matchup. Despite a scoreless first half, the Panthers came alive after the break, lighting up the scoreboard with 41 unanswered points. The offensive surge, paired with a stingy second-half defense, fueled Jennings County to one of their biggest wins of the season. The atmosphere was electric, with a packed Homecoming crowd cheering the Panthers on every step of the way. The fans witnessed not only a hard-fought victory, but also a reminder of this team’s grit and ability to rally when it matters most. With the win, Jennings County improves to 3-2 on the season. That record includes a forfeit win earlier this year over Beech Grove, but Friday’s performance was all earned on the field. Next up, the Panthers hit the road for their next test against the Bedford North Lawrence Stars this Friday night.
