JCHS tennis jumped off to a quick 3-0 lead against depleted Southwestern Rebels with wins at #1 singles and both doubles positions. At #1 singles, Owen Law (10) defeated Carter Harmon (S) 6-0., 6-2; #1 doubles team of Jacob Vogel (11) and Justin Ramey (10) defeated Tanner Jacobs and Austin Caldwell (S) 6-1, 6-0; and the #2 doubles team of Greyson Jackson (11) and Alex Leach (10) defeated Korben Schindler and Kenny Yount (S) 6-0, 6-2. Southwestern bounced back to take the two remaining singles points with straight set wins over Gage Gasper and Connor Euler at #2 and #3 singles respectively. In the JV portion, JCHS won both points with Isaac Lightner (9) defeating Keegan Rogers (S) 6-3, 6-2 and Ryan Schuck (9) and Jansen McDonald (9) winning in doubles by the pro set score of 8-2.
